friendlycybirdI'm mostly just playing with Dreamwidth and seeing how posting and stuff works. I was never part of LiveJournal so this is all new to me.
Thought I'd kick off with a funny thing that happened to me just now. I was trying to log into my online banking to check how much money I have, and I kept getting an error saying my information was wrong. At first I thought I'd mis-typed my password, so I tried again. I was sure it was right, but I got an error message again.
It wasn't until after my third try that I noticed what I had put in my User ID field.

Now, yes, I'm FriendlyCybird, but...generally? Banks don't use your online handle for your User ID. They use your NAME. So, I'm not totally sure what happened there. If I just wasn't paying attention, if I'm so use to self-identifying as FriendlyCybird I just didn't see a problem at first, or if I genuinely forgot my own name for a second there.
